Hello, yesterday Apple released macOS 10.13.4: I still have to upgrade, meanwhile I wonder if the slow boot issue on Macbook with SSD has been solved. My MacBook Pro 13" with SSD 850 EVO stops at about 75 % of startup launch bar, waits for 10-15 seconds, then keeps back booting. This with 10.13.3.
How about this new update? Bye!

I have an update... I just have installed macOS 10.13.4, now booting time seems to be normal, no more lags on startup... 17 seconds from the "dong" to the login. On 10.13.3 booting time was over 40 seconds...
It seems that Apple found the solution to the slow boot time. BTW Trim is still enabled on my 850 EVO. Good!

Hi, no, file vault is not enabled in my Macbook. I have only Trim enabled, now boot is much faster than 10.13.3.
