Hi there !

Just upgraded my M4 Max with Tahoe 26.5 ...

Which version of firmware do you have ?

Thanks !

I don’t own a Mac Studio.

However, my 2024 Mac mini has the same new firmware and OS loader version, 18000.120.36.
Previous (i.e., macOS 26.4.1) was v18000.101.7

MBP (M1 Pro) was also updated to that version. I didn’t check prior to the OS update. So, probably the same firmware for all Apple Silicon Macs.

Why does it matter?

I don't think I ever looked at the firmware version number. I just upgraded to 26.5 the other day, and so far its been working well, no hiccups or unexpected issues.

please, if you have a link to a document that explains all the new features and all the new updates, write it here for me ...

I wondered the same thing. Would be curious what bugs/vulnerabilities they fixed, but that's more curiosity than anything. Otherwise, update however Apple pleases.
