.mac > sync automatically vs. every hour

I have a question. What is better to keep my Mac in sync.

Should I set .mac to sync "Automatically" or

Should I set .mac to sync "Every Hour"?

I am assuming that Automatically syncs whenever there are changes.
Just wanted to see if anyone had more insight into these two settings.

I set it to sync automatically and it does so hourly. I don't think it matters. 🙂
