I'm getting ready for Mobile Me and I have a question about syncing. I see that I can merge date, replace data on Mac or replace on .mac.

What is the safest to do? I don't want to lose data. Basically, currently, I only add data to my Mac, so I guess I would want to merge or replace .mac's data.

Would merging double the information on my computer??

When PUSH technology comes to fruition with Mobile Me, then I will be replacing my data on my iPhone, Mac, and .mac as my needs arise. So then merging seems the correct choice.

Or will all of these options change with Mobile Me.

I'm really confused with all of this. Thanks for any help.

You only choose those options the first time you sync and everytime you manually do thereafter. For instance, if .mac is acting funny or you add something that you decide to manually sync then you chose to replace your data or replace .mac's data with what you currently have
