Mac the Ripper Region problem

Hi All,

I'm using Mac the Ripper to put some DVD's on my external harddrive. My Macbook is set to Region 2 and the DVD's are Region 1.

However I keep getting a pop-up saying that there were errors and it tends to only save the Video file and not the Audio files so I can't play the Rip.

Any ideas?
 
It is my understanding that even with MTR, the DVD drive and the commercial DVD have to match regions. You should head over to the MTR forums at ripdifferent.com (I don't have the full URL for the forums.). You will have to register a free account to view the forums.
