Well about a week ago i was deleting useless things on my computer just putting them all into Trash and then emptying it, well there were like 3 files that wouldn't delete because they were "In use" so i found think thing on the internet that i could do in the Terminal so that it would delete those things, well now when i go to put something in the trashcan it's acting like im pressing the "Empty Trash?" Button and it asks me if it's okaay that it's going to be permanently deleted, does anyone know what's wrong? Or how i can change it? Please help, thankyouu<3

Let's start with: what Terminal commands did you use?

just words of advice for everyone; don't mess around in terminal if you don't know what you're doing.

    Open a terminal.

Pressing up (up-arrow) scrolls through your command history. Scroll through the history until you find the commands that you used. Post them here.

Even better. Type history and hit enter. Pipe it to a file if it's long.
