.mac "Upgrade" for trial wants to charge CC

Guys,

I'm in the UK and I have just signed up for the 60 day trial, but when I login via the .mac screen on osx 10.4 I get an "upgrade" button which I click and takes me to the mobileme sign on page. Once I sign in it asks me for my CC details AGAIN and wants to charge me the £49 or whatever it is rather than just authorise, anyone else experience this?

Do you mean you only get an upgrade button? Otherwise, of course pressing upgrade is going to take you to a pay screen. Its then expecting you to upgrade from trial to full after all.

Yes I do however why would I get an upgrade button as I'm not a .mac member....?

The "upgrade" option is there FOR you to become a member 🙂 As in "update your trial version."

Thanks, but the page insists it will debit my card! Whereas when I signed up for the trial from the me.com website it only used my card to authorise.
