Which will run better performance wise?

If I play the mac client of games such as World of Warcraft, Counter strike, Modern Warfare or if I play the windows version via bootcamp?

You can do either. I would suggest OS X for the simple fact that you won't have to boot into Windows if you want to play that specific game. Depending on the GPU, a small difference in frames in the Windows clients were reported - not sure how accurate that is.

Don't know about those games specifically, but TF2 and Portal2 played about the same wether dual boot in Windoes 7 or through Mac OS Lion.

I like windows 7 and also ues a few other applications in there so I like gaming from windows 7 over mac os.

It'll depend on the specific game and your drivers. It could really go either way, game to game. I would recommend doing whatever you find the easiest and if you have issues, try the other route as a backup.
