i had to hard boot a couple times, cuase i had a glichy app. got rid of it.

i did check permission an fix them,

do i need to do anything else , is there a mac version of chkdsk?
 
fsck is the Unix equivalent. The system will automatically fsck the disk if it doesn't mount properly. If your system is booting, don't worry about it.
