My macbook has just recently started to not recognize my iPhone 4, i've read everywhere, factory reset my iPhone, uninstalled itunes, reinstalled it. nothing is happening. The phone simply doesn't show up anywhere. Is there any thing else that i can do?

Check the 30 pin cable, try the cord on other Macs/Power adapter and see if the problem is with your MacBook.
