Hey everyone,

I have a local network with two wireless access points, one in the living room and one in my bedroom. When I am in my bedroom however the MBP insists on connecting to the AP in the living room despite the fact that there is one right next to it with much better signal.

Is there a way to force it to use the right acess point?

Thanks

Chris

I would recommend enabling WDS on one of the access points and setting up the other one to be an extender for the first one. This is what I did (I have a very similar setup to yours), and it works perfectly. Of course, if the two access points aren't from the same manufacturer, WAP may not work properly since there is no WAP implementation standard defined AFAIK.
