I have Mac OS X 10.6.8 desktop. My internet pages won't load. The blue progress bar in the address line loads about 20% then stops. I am, however, able to check my email. Suggestions?

What browser do you use and have you tried another browser yet? Tried resetting the browser and does it also happen in another, even temporarily created, user account?

Solution found :)

Tried all the above..browser is Safari. Created a test user and it opened Safari just fine. Had to go to Finder move Safari from Utilities folder to desktop and it opened fine. Once that folder was trashed a new folder appeared in the Utilities box and all is operating well at this point! Thank you!!
