On main account I can only do capital T if I put caps lock on.
Same thing happens if data is downloaded from other computer. Spent an hour on phone to mac support - opened up a new test account page and it is fine there.

Sooo frustrating

Spoke to someone who said it could be something to do with keyboard mapping.

Has anyone else had similar problem - Any ideas what to do apart from take it into Apple ?

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419.3)

If it only happens with one user then I would try recreating that user. Hope this helps.

Are you sure you haven't mapped the key combination to something like Speech Recognition orso?
Browse around your System Prefs to check that the SHIFT - T combo is not used for something...

It is definitely a pref, as another account doesn't have this problem.

Good luck finding it.

Solved The Shift T Problem !

WOW THANKS - my whole family thinks I'm a genius !!! We had set it as a speech pref !:D cheers mac R..
