Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum so forgive any ignorance on my part.

I am trying to find a way to stop shapes / objects / lines etc in Mac Word 2008 from automatically adjusting when one of them is resized.

I thought I had found a way by setting the wrapping on each of the objects to 'through' as I was able to resize a number of objects and move them without any sporadic random movement on part of the other shapes but alas, the last object i had to resize scattered everything else on the page.

I have tried but can't imagine how this feature of the shapes and lines automatically moving would be beneficial in any kind of document drafting. It's a constant and futile game of chasey.

I've tried every form of 'wrapping' and nothing seems to work.

What I want to achieve: I want to insert multiple shapes and objects, lines and text boxes into a Mac Word document and have none of them move on their own accord when other objects are adjusted or move. I want them only to move if I move them myself.

Does anyone know of any way I can do this?
