.Mac, Worth It?

Ok, I'm actually liking .Mac a little more. I'm stuck between this and SpyMac. I can't test it since the registration is down until August 31 when they open SpyMac 4. Can anybody tell me which one is better besides the, it's free excuse?

Well if you exclude price making both of your options free, obviously .Mac because of its integration with OS X which only Apple themselves can achieve. I wish .Mac was maybe $50 or maybe even $25 a year. I also don't understand why you have to pay the same to renew as a new membership enrollee. I say if you renew before your .Mac expires they should give you 40% off or something. Like $99 US for your first year and then maybe $59 US after that (as long as you renew before the expiry date).

I had the same question so i did the 60 day trial. I am on day 1 right now and so far i like it!

My subscription expired a couple of days ago and I didn't renew, I miss .mac, I'll get it and it's time to update to Tiger as well. grrr!
