Macbook 13" 2009 - Boots From Disc then Black Screen!

Hello,

I am trying to boot from my SL disc on my 13 Macbook and having problems.

It books onto the desktop fine.
I have reset the Pram and run a command in Single User Mode.

It seems to happen after Grey Apple Logo appears and the spinning gear, the disc seems to be rotating.
