If i upgrade my macbook 1st gen, thats the 1.83ghz model with currently 1GB of ram. What kind of differences am i likely to see if i go to 2GB? Will it be really noticeable?

Thanks

Yes, you will. The latest accessed apps / documents will be kept in RAM so further accesses will be faster. The price is low so I think it is worth it. You should even check the prices to upgrade to 3Gb, if you can afford the difference I recommend it.
