    Hey guys,

I just want to know if anyone out there can give me an idea as to what to do. I "upgraded" my 2.16 C2D Macbook from Tiger 10.4.10.... since the upgrade. My Macbook has been sluggish and had a tendency to freeze. So, I saved my photos, music, and documents. I did a fresh install of Leopard and things were running smoother and faster. However, Leopard keeps freezing. The screen would randomly dim and says "Mac OS X has unexpectedly quit, hold the power button down until it shuts down."

I do that, turn it back on, and this message comes up:

    "Mon Oct 29 07:10:58 2007
    panic(cpu 0 caller 0x0039CDE0): "m_free: freeing an already freed mbuf"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1228/bsd/kern/uipc_mbuf.c:2742

    I have the same issues

Even with a complete erase and re-install I still have the freezing problems and periodically my bluetooth Macmouse will not work. Is it a issue that we need a faster computer or what?

Solved my problem. I did a fresh install of Leopard... then i installed all my apps that I had used on Tiger... the system was sluggish and it would freeze up. I applied the Leopard updates. Then I went and reinstalled Leopard as an "upgrade." Now it runs normal.

That worked perfectly. After reinstalling as an update it is running perfectly. I hope the word gets out there are alot of people in the same predicament.
