macbook 2008 alu and Macbook pro mid 2009

hi guys, i have the above macbook/pro's and have noticed something very interesting...

both take up to 8gb of ddr3 ram, but the alu macbook from 2008 takes 1333 bus speed ram , whereas the macbook pro only goes up to 1067...

weird...
