Hi everybody!

I've been asked if I'd like a new notebook for work and Apple was an option. How does a new Macbook connect to security devices like Kensington locks?

Company I work for require physicial security in our offices for all notebooks. So no lock no Macbook 🙁

I'd be glad if anybody had seen this because I cannot see how we could connect one.

Thanks and kind regards, Sophie.

It doesn't have one - none of Apple's current rMBP/MBA, and now rMBs have a security slot. You'll have go with another solution which usually involves a pad that glued to the laptop.

We use lockable docks from LandingZone for our Macs at the office. But there is no version for the new Macbook yet (may take a while due to the new USB-C port).

Hi,

Thanks I did not know because I had been used to all notebooks having this. Seems like an oversight.

I shall look into pads and glue.

I really like LandingZone. Thanks!
