The positive stuff far outweighs the negative one, its just that the negative voices are much louder.
Love mine. Stock space gray 15" 2.7GHz/512GB/455 model. Screen is beautiful. SSD is incredibly fast. No graphics issues. Love the keyboard. No issues with battery life whatsoever. Perfectly happy.
A large percentage of complaints are from non owners.
Another percentage of complaints are from trolls.
Youtube and other reviews bash pretty much everything, especially high profile products.
But if you look at the majority...it's pretty solidly positive. This is the best machine I've owned. Gave my 2015 15" (too heavy) away to family yesterday. Keeping this machine and my Air is still a great machine I'll keep for a while.
R.
1. Is the screen noticeably different to that of a none retina MacBook Pro? (i currently have a 2011 MacBook Pro)
2. Are the SSD's that are in the new MacBook Pro's faster than the fusion drives on the iMac's?
- Like night & day
- Many many times faster. Fusion drive is, you could say, still a spinner HDD with an SSD cache.

Mines not really that solid, but I'm not going to complain. Overtime that buttons will probally loosen up tbh.Love mine .. 15" 2.9/16/1tb/460 space gray
Only issue I have is a wobbly Touch ID / power button .. Apple Store said I could swap it out when one comes back in stock since all the demo model buttons are solid .. dunno if it is worth the hassle tho
So not worth swapping out?Mines not really that solid, but I'm not going to complain. Overtime that buttons will probally loosen up tbh.
