Macbook + 24" Dell LCD?

Has anyone used a macbook with a 24" dell? If so, how was the video performance? (widgets, etc).

I am not concerned about games.

i have a 19 in and it works great. dunno about 24 but im pretty sure the macbook can drive it no problemo

I had a black macbook til last week and used it with my dell 2407 fwp(24" ws tft), worked just fine.

ive had it connected to a 24" Dell and 30" Apple Display and all works perfect 😉

The only downside is that expose transitions aren't very smooth.

Doesn't it need to be Dual-Link DVI to connect to 30" displays? (i.e. on the MBP)

Notice the fellow who said that has a MBP. And the one who asked.. has a MBP too, but said "macbook" - so it's rather confusing as to just what the question is referring to - Pro or not.

This is why the new naming convention is irritating for us who are used to saying ____book. We're too lazy to say that third syllable!

The GMA950 will support up to the 24". I've had Macbooks and Dell GMA950-based laptops working fine on the 23" ACD and the 2407WFP.
