Hi All,

I've got a Macbook 2ghz core 2 duo that i received from a friend.

Its got a standard 80GB HDD but i'd like to try and speed it up as well as having a bigger drive.

First question can someone recommend an SSD drive that will work with what i presume is SATAI?

And does any one know if its possible to sub the superdrive for another drive, not sure if you can still get drives that hook up to ATA?

THANKS!

No one know anything about this?

I've found plenty of Caddys for another drive inplacement of the ODD but they're all SATA interface whereas the ODD on my macbook (a1181 2006) is ATA interface.

?

Any SSD will work. I recently had a Intel Core Duo (not 2) MacBook from 2006 with was running a 60GB Vertex 3 SSD. So, you're safe!!
