pastrychef macrumors 601 Aug 2, 2015 #2 I've had very good experiences with Crucial SSDs. I tried a Toshiba Q series Pro in my MacBook and it only ran at SATA 1 speeds. So I would highly recommend that you stay away from these.

pastrychef macrumors 601 Aug 2, 2015 #4 I have installed Kingstons for friends and. as far as I know, none have had any issues. I've read good things about the SanDisk drives as well. Given a choice, I'd personally go for the SanDisk just based on the things I've read online.
