Macbook 80 gb Hard drive

    is there such thing as a macbook with an 80 gb hard drive? i saw an ad on ebay and the guy says it has 80gb hd, 1gb ram, 2ghz. does it sound real? sorry for the stupid question, but i am new to apple :)

    Yes. This one fits that description. Though it may not be the exact model. Current MacBooks start at 120 GB.

    they could also have put in a 3rd party 80gb HDD

    The previous generation base 2.0GHz MacBooks came with 80GB hard drives.

    ok thanks everyone for letting me know. I thought they didn't make them because of the current versions at the apple online apple store.

    You could always ask the seller if the HDD is stock or upgraded.
