I updated from snow leopard to lion can I have other update osx ????

Apple says no, but when I was looking around the web for my A1181 (Macbook 4,1 Core 2 Duo) I think I recall some people got later versions to work, but had to do some extra workarounds.

Hello, developer and MacBook4,1 user here. You can run up to 10.15 Catalina on your MacBook although versions newer than 10.8 will not have graphics acceleration. Some helpful links: https://github.com/rmc-team/macos-patcher (by me) https://www.discord.gg/XbbWAsE

You can use a patcher program and get them to run later than they are supposed to
