hi
i am trying to install high sierra on my macbook air 2015.
when it gets to the 'connect to the internet' screen, wifi is greyed out...like it doesnt exist.
i have tried another wifi card but with no luck
please help...

Try using an ethernet cable. if that works then source another wifi card from ebay for $12.99 and call it a day...

They are very easy to swap out. If you need tools (pentalobe screw) then source them from ifixit.
