In 2016 I bought a MacBook Air from a CEX shop for £420 and I had no issues with it for 11 months, got it, restored to 10.8.5 and no other issues. Then in our hotel room I had a accident with the MacBook and water and when I tried to start it, Apple logo appeared then the crash screen turned into a mess of purple lines and green lines. The charger went from flicking green and orange to just green to nothing. We don't want to pay a lot of money to fix it but considering now nothing works and we can't do anything since we're on a holiday. I assume the logic board is fried. image.jpg

Not sure, but I would bury it with rice and let it dry out for several days.

we don't have rice though I already put it in a towel and put it outside with about 35* C though I did accidentally plug it in about 16 hours ago
