I currently own a Base 11.6 Macbook Air. It's hooked up to my HDTV. A Samsung LN32C530. 1080p HDTV. The problem I have is about the text size. it's almost impossible to read it from afar. I know there's two ways about this. Command and +. For Firefox text, etc... and there's also the Control + Scroll Up to use as a zoom mode. any other ways around this? I don't want to constantly increasing magnification just to read a website. I can't even see the files in my folders. I use my Air as a HTPC when I'm home. I connect it to the TV. I take it out all the time, so I need to reset the zoom every time. Thanks!

You could try setting the resolution to 720p rather than 1080p. That will make text bigger but still look decent.
