Yes, I run CS5 on my MBP 13" and to has no problems, and since the two computers are pretty similar speed and power wise, it should be fine.

I have no issues running CS6 on my i7/256GB SSD/8GB RAM 11" setup.

same computer, same comment

i manipulate photos in photoshop and put them in powerpoint - no lag or slow down. i bought the TBD for this exact purpose but I find myself just as comfortable working on the native screen.
