Last Friday I saw a 13" MBA/128gb/2gb Refurb pop up on Apple site and pulled the trigger. Bought for my wife as an early birthday present and it showed up today.
All I can say is WOW!!!!!😱😱 This thing is AMAZING!
So fast, so light, so thin. An amazing peice of machinery! Was on the fence about upping the RAM to 4gb on a new MBA but decided to save the extra money and go for the base model refurb. So glad I did. I have been on it since before noon and have yet to get above 1.09gb of used RAM and still 0 page outs. Have been installing apps, surfing, playing videos and it isn't even breathing hard.
Also installed Coconut Bettery and turnes out it is only 1 week old with 7 charge cycles. It's still brand new. One question, does Apple reset the warranty date on the refurbs because I put my serial number in on the Apple site and it showed my Apple Care starting on January 23, 2011.
Anyways one very happy MBA owner here and will have a tough time handing it over to the wife.
