Hi,

My Macbook Air 13" (early 2015, base configuration with 4GB of RAM) started turning itself off randomly while I use the computer. It started doing this half a month ago.

What have I tried so far:
- reset SMC multiple times
- reset NVRAM multiple times
- boot into Safe Mode (to my recall, the issue did not happen then)
- format the whole thing, reinstall MacOS via Recovery (Cmd+R while booting, not internet recovery).

When I work on my laptop, it randomly turns itself off. sometimes I close the laptop cover and it comes back on like nothing happens. Other times it just goes all black and I have to press the power button multiple times until it reboots.

Anyone has any tips and tricks I could try? Thanks!

Here's my System info and the Amp looks really weird.

If it doesn't happen when plugged in then I would suspect battery issues. 450 cycles isn't that old but it may have problems. You might consider replacing it. Easy to replace and costs about $80.

If you're not having any issues when your laptop is plugged into an AC source and only when you're on the battery I would suggest that you take the back cover off, unplug the battery and leave it unplugged from the logic board for about an hour then reconnect the battery ensuring you have a good solid connection and put the back cover back on. Reconnect the AC source and do an SMC reset on your laptop and see if the problem goes away.

Seems your battery should be okay with a low cycle count so this is what I would try first.
