Saw an ad for a "sale" price on a MBA, details...

Intel Core i7
16 GB Memory
256 GB SSD

These specs are NOT available at Apple.com and wondering if this is a previous model

I don't see any i7 MBA models on Apple.com.

i7 MBAs are available in the Apple Store as well as the rest of the specs you listed. The processor and RAM are upgrades on the base model.

If you're ever wondering "Did Apple make...", I highly recommend downloading Mactracker. It is a listing of all Macs, Apples, iPhones, and other things Apple made.

It's a BTO (Built to Order) option to upgrade the base model to an i7 and 16 GB RAM which comes out to $1449
Yeah it is, but I'm seeing it for $200 off which it isn't. The QUESTION is, what's the price before the discount.

But your original post said those specs weren't available on Apple, and we're telling you they are and how to see them. You didn't mention anything about price. You can check the 2020 MBAs available on the Apple Refurb Store for good discounts.

Sorry, I meant the specs for the i7 MBA. I didn't see any listing for an i7 option.

It's the third processor upgrade option:

Clearly, according to your post, there is a 3rd option (i7). However, on my screen in the Apple store, it only shows the i3 and i5 models. It's not necessary for you to reply about the i7 model as the cost is above my pricing point for just a couch browser.

Thanks for clearing the matter up.

You need to select the computer to begin customizing it, then you will have the option to upgrade. The base models start at either the i3 or i5.
