Yes, your model supports Mavericks: OS X Mavericks: System Requirements Where did you get the installer?

Do you still have SL, Lion, or ML? If so do a clean install before updating to mavericks! ---------- akfsx said: it won't let me try to download it, saying the same thing. It doesn't matter, as any MacBook Air from late 2008 on will support Mavericks. As already suggested, just download it directly from Apple.

A akfsx macrumors newbie Original poster Dec 14, 2013 #10 I clean installed my computer and i still get the same error when trying to download it. ---------- But could i try making a boot drive for my mavericks installer and try to do sort of a clean install thing on my mac. ---------- Actually I just found out that my mac is a early 2008 and not a late 2008 so it is not compatible with mavericks. I guess im stuck with getting lion. Last edited: Dec 14, 2013
