Yes, your model supports Mavericks: OS X Mavericks: System Requirements

Where did you get the installer?

Do you still have SL, Lion, or ML? If so do a clean install before updating to mavericks!

wait I am confused here! Is it a 2010 or 2008?

It doesn't matter, as any MacBook Air from late 2008 on will support Mavericks. As already suggested, just download it directly from Apple.

I clean installed my computer and i still get the same error when trying to download it.

    ----------

But could i try making a boot drive for my mavericks installer and try to do sort of a clean install thing on my mac.

    ----------

Actually I just found out that my mac is a early 2008 and not a late 2008 so it is not compatible with mavericks.

I guess im stuck with getting lion.

That's not a bad thing - ML rocks.
