interesting but a number of issues could lead to longer startup time such as startup items.

You could add up all the "extra" boot time of the "slow" SSD for an entire year and not waste as much time as it took to shoot the video. What is wrong with people?

This video perfectly underscores how silly the ssd hysteria is.

+1! Except for those who are measuring boot times with a stopwatch and obsessing over insignificant differences, nobody cares that one brand of flash memory may be marginally faster or slower than another. As you said, worrying about such minutiae is "silly."

Well that settles it then. Anyone/everyone who's made MBA exchanges trying to find Samsung parts, hurry up and take those laptops back and re-exchange them for Airs with Toshiba parts!

This is ridiculous 99.9% of users out there will notice zero difference so why the constant threads and comparisons, benchmarks?

I love apple and have had mac's for years but the level of complaints here can hit stellar levels for incredibly petty reasons.

Apple make premium products for a very good price so yes I can understand people want perfection but don't go crazy about the smallest thing which will make no difference in the end.
