Hi all,

I've got a problem with my MacBook Air from 2011.
I was working today on it when the screen suddenly went black.

After that I am not able anymore to start it.

The only thing that seems do work is the MagSafe indicator.
The battery is now fully charged (as the indicator shows).

When I tried to reset the SMC it worked as well (indicator went from orange to green after releasing the buttons).

I tried also a SMC-Bypass, but it didn't worked.
Does someone have another idea what I can try?
I have to buy a screwdriver to open it and disconnect the battery.

Thank you so much.

EDIT:

Now its making the startup chime and the monitor is turning grey for one second. After that its turning off immediately.

hi Its said in your post that your silver Mac Air doesnt begin to load; instead its screen is black! I dont know whether the Mac store can help!

Yes, thanks. I will go there, but I wanted to avoid that in the first place.

The mac bootet up today normally. Everything was fine for 1 minute. Than the same thing startet again.

Now its "completely" dead again.
