Hello
I have a Macbook Air 11' mid 2011 in perfect condition,
Just happen to have 3 dead pixels lines in the screen.
Two horizontal lines near the upper part of the screen, one vertical just about in the middle of the screen.
Because the costs of sending to repair are elevated, I'm thinking on replacing the screen myself.
Have the tools and some basic history of making repairs in personal computers and cell phones.
But, my electronic knowledge does not include the capacity of knowing if the problem is with the screen itself or on some other component, such as the main board, for example.
What are the chances that the problem is it really on the screen?
Should I take the risk of making such as delicate repair as this one appears to be?
Thanks in advance for all the comments.
Following is one photo of the problem.

Horizontal lines can be caused by failing RAM.
If you restart, do you see the horizontal lines before the Apple icon appears on the screen?
If the lines "load" later on during boot, I would suspect a failure that would result in replacing the logic board.
But, you still have the vertical line - could be a video cable, so you could try reseating the LVDS cable on the logic board.

Or, accept that it is not "perfect condition", sell it as is. "Works great, minor screen issue", maybe someone will go for it.

Yes, @DeltaMac, all three lines show before the apple logo appears.
I was just thinking on selling it as it is. Or maybe I just upgrade the storage capacity and use it "on the road".
But, thanks for the information and advice.
