Hi guys,

From last week. Almost everyday during the midnight, my Air's facetime camera always down. Then if i open the "PhotoBooth" app, it keeps freezing, and the camera's light is not on, too. When this kind of situation shows up, i always check the camera information under "System Report -> USB" menu, sometime the "FaceTime HD camera(built-in)" is there sometimes it's not. A full reinstall of mountain lion didn't help either.

But after all this, when i try to open the "PhotoBooth" next morning, everything works just fine, then it will go down when the night comes up. I even took the Air to the genius bar, after they did the "Hardware Check", everything looks okay. But in fact it's really not.

So i think maybe you guys may help me out. It'd be appreciated, thanks.

PS. I've also tried reset SMC and didn't work too.

I had the camera stop working in my 11" 2012 Air. The screen assembly was replaced under warranty.
