MacBook Air 2012 [Problem: blue lines on screen]

I am new to Mac anything. Bought a Mac Air 2012. Have vertical blue annoying blue/white lines (2) on right side of screen.

Any fixes available? Hopefully I can get these off the screen soon.

Nothing you can do personally to fix that. It is a hardware problem that will need to be fixed by Apple.

Bought at Best Buy just over a year

did it come with the one year warranty maybe you should of got the applecare, i just bought the 2013 and after reading all the stuff that goes on with laptops, i am gonna buy it once im nearly outta warranty...i am sorry to hear about your laptop after one year i would not be very happy that has happened i want to keep this laptop for a while it cost 1000 pounds. it should last far longer then a year my friend.

i hope you can get it fixed some how.....keep us posted. interested to hear what is wrong and if it is the intel HD GPU

Bought at Best Buy just over a year

Sorry, I have no idea how to resolve the issue. Many credit card issuers extend the manufacturer's warranty. Just a thought.

Problem Fixed!!!!

New to Mac and very satisfied how Apple rep handled my out of warranty issue. I am impressed. Most businesses take for granted current customers and focus most on getting new customers. Forever an Apple fan.
