I am new to Mac anything. Bought a Mac Air 2012. Have vertical blue annoying blue/white lines (2) on right side of screen. :(

Any fixes available? Hopefully I can get these off the screen soon.

Nothing you can do personally to fix that. It is a hardware problem that will need to be fixed by Apple.

Did you purchase with a credit card?

Sorry, I have no idea how to resolve the issue. Many credit card issuers extend the manufacturer's warranty. Just a thought.

    Problem Fixed!!!!

New to Mac and very satisfied how Apple rep handled my out of warranty issue. I am impressed. Most businesses take for granted current customers and focus most on getting new customers. Forever an Apple fan.

So, what did they end up doing? Did they go ahead and fix for free?
