Hello,

I have a 2013 Macbook Air i5 128. It has worked fine for the past 3 weeks that I've owned it. About a hour ago, while surfing the internet, the computer just froze. The trackpad and the keyboard are both unresponsive. So far, all I've tried is turning off the MBA by holding the power button. Once I turn it back on, the MBA boots up just like the normal. The issue is that the trackpad and keyboard are still not working! Because of this, I'm unable to login to the computer. Has anyone encountered this issue and does anyone know how I can repair this?

Have you tried hooking up an external mouse and keyboard? My keyboard and trackpad stopped working on wednesday for some reason...

Hi,

Often best to try reset the PRAM/SMC in situations such as these. Any chance you can kindly try this and let me know what the outcome is?

Thanks in advance. :)

That fixed it. It's still strange considering it's a new machine with barely any apps installed. I hope the issue doesn't pop again. Thanks a lot!
