MacBook Air 2013 or MacBook Pro retina 2013 ?? Help !!

So I'm getting a new MacBook...I'm currently on a 2008 aluminum mac and its just time to upgrade...I mainly just browse the web and watch/stream movies...but my iTunes is STACKED with thousands on thousands of songs...now if you were me would you not wait for the MBPr and just get the air now?

Also...would you upgrade the air to its full 1.7 ghz, 256gb, 8gb sdram ?

I ordered a 1.7ghz MBA to replace my 2.5ghz i5 MBP retina.

The new MacBook Air had better geek bench than my retina. So I'm happy!
