Macbook Air 2014 not charging

So today it stopped charging. I had my battery at 45% when I started charging and while the icon says it is charging it still is on 45%, been like this for 1h now.

The led light on the charger is not showing any light what so ever. I tried unplug and plug back in a few times but no light what so ever.


Any thoughts what it could be? I bought it in 2014 and changed battery about 18 mnths ago (bought it from iFixit).

i wish my wife would stop charging!
there is a kink in the wire, what i did was move , bend the chord slightly until the green amber light appears. also restart, that helped my air

That was EXACTLY what it was! Thank you so much! My cat have played with it before so that may have created the problem.
