Searched other threads, found no relief.

Over the last 2 weeks I noticed I no longer feel a click or see/feel any depress motion on my MBA. Took it to the apple store and they took it back and and "removed a lot of dust/gunk," after which it was SLIGHTLY better. Now it's back to no feel/click.

Could this be the battery swelling, as I've seen in a few youtube videos?

Anyone else having this issue, or had? And fixed by...?

Thanks.

If you suspect a swollen/swelling battery, you can remove the battery and try the touchpad to see if it feels any different.

Yeah, I think I need to check. Although I’d really rather not open up my own computer. Maybe I’ll stop by the store and ask them a more specific question about the battery, then ask to try the pad when the battery is out.
