MacBook Air 2015 or 2017 what’s the difference?

am planning on getting a macbook air What is the difference between the MacBook Air 2015 and 2017 airs ?

Other than a slightly faster processor in the 2017 and 8 GB of ram, there is not much difference.

All parts from the mid 2013 to 2017 air are completely interchangeable too.

thanks the macbook air is going too be my main laptop and it is replaceing my chormbook

I have used an i5 8 GB 2015 (my current Air) and the i5 2017 Air (now used by my niece). I never noticed any difference in how they both functioned or performed.

yes, it was just the i5 that got a slightly higher clocked part, and I doubt even that gave any noticeable performance increase.
