Trying my luck one last time.

Process:

Disconnected battery and left chargers connected: no change.

Disconnected battery and charger and followed SMC reset. No change.

Removed battery to examine keyaboard cable (based on this video: ): looks clean. No change.

Inspected motheboard with a flashlight. Seems fine to me (visually, i can’t see any damage or water damage).

Left charger overnight. No change.

Nothing I do will turn the display or the fan on.

Any advice?

Thank you!

I ran my 2015 Air battery to zero by accident. When I reconnected it I had to leave the connector plugged in for about 15 minutes before it would power up. It went green to orange when plugged in. Since then it has functioned normally.

I note there seems to be some impact damage in the corner where the connector is. A previous owner of mine had similar damage and as a result the usb compactor would not function. The little internal connector board contains the power, usb and audio connectors. A replacement is readily available (approx $20) and easily fitted. Might be worth replacing it.

Thank you for the information!
I should check it out on eBay. Seems to be cheap enough that even if it doesn't work out was worth the chance.
Thanks
