The bottom right of the trackpad feels smooth when sliding to the edge of it like u can't feel the edge at all.
However, the bottom left side...when I slide my fingers down towards it, I can feel the edge and it's bumpy.

Is this normal or is it an uneven trackpad worth going to ask apple care for repair?

I've owned several MBA's and most of the one's I had had a slight gap on one side or the other, as if the trackpad didn't lay perfectly flat in its housing. You could probably take it in for a replacement if it bothers you.

There are 8 screws if I remember right that hold the trackpad in and one larger "screw" that makes it click. If you take it into an Apple Store they should just be able to loosen those screws, realign the trackpad, and tighten them again. They shouldn't charge you for it but it can take a while. Depending on the model either everything needs to come out to get at those screws or it's a 10 minute job.
