Some of you think, my question is strange because now there is macbook Air 2019.
Anyway, I need your suggestions folks!
recently my Samsung monitor broken which I have connected with my Macbook Air 2017.
So, can you tell me which monitor is good for my macbook air based on the resolution?
Even though in apple website said as follows, I wonder which resolution monitor is good?
  • Supported resolutions: 1440 by 900 (native), 1280 by 800, 1152 by 720, and 1024 by 640 pixels at 16:10 aspect ratio and 1024 by 768 and 800 by 600 pixels at 4:3 aspect ratio.
So can't connect the 4K monitors or FULL HD monitors?

You can hook external 4K screens to your air. The resolutions listed in that quote from the website is only talking about the built in screen. More relevant info for your needs is found further down on the tech specs page.

  • Dual display and video mirroring: Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display and up to 3840-by-2160 resolution at 60Hz on an external display, both at millions of colors.

thanks for reply. Macbook air 2017 will display the screen in 4K monitor but the resolution is not 4K, right?. I am wondering what will be the maximum real resolution it can display

3840x2160 is 4K, so yes, it will drive a 4K display at 4K resolution at 60Hz.
@Pugilares and @MultiFinder17 I just did with LG 4K HDR monitor. The Macbook Air 2017, yes it can support the 3840x2160 (4K) with low resolution.
One more thing, there is no 60Hz in the Display settings option. You can see that in the attached picture.
