Hi guys, I purchased a new MacBook Air BTO i7 quad core 1.2GHz and I noticed that in two different situations I see only 2 out of 4 cores:
1) In TG-Pro app I can see only 2 cores instead of 4 (I also own a MacBook Pro i5 quad core and I see 4 cores on it)
2) Also in Parallels I see 4 cores in total instead of 8 (4 physical cores and 4 hyper threading). Again in my MacBook Pro I see 8 available cores to split between windows and Mac OS.

My question is if this is normal or my processor has a issue and only 2 cores are active instead of 4. Thanks a lot.

OK, but do you have any idea why I can only see 2 core in TG-Pro and also 4 cores instead of 8 in Parallels?

Only thought could be as its a new custom chip that was made for Apple, those pieces of software are not seeing the proper core count.
