Any reason why you think they’ll roll in?

Or why you can’t wait for them to roll in?

Honestly, this place sometimes.....

Why? Because people here have reported that every other Mac model with T2 chips have them, whether the device costs $1000 or $10,000.

I was being sarcastic by saying "can't wait." I'm actually extremely disappointed that Apple refuses to address a problem that so many people are having. Just take a look around this forum, covering newer MacBook Pros, the iMac Pro, the new Mac Mini, and even the previous MacBook Air having to grapple with shutdown, crashes and freezes relating to the T2 Bridge OS error, with NO help from Apple. I already bought and returned a MacBook Pro that crashed 2 minutes out-of-the-box.

The problem is not "this place." It's Apple.

I’ve had a new Mac mini since October 2019 and have never once experienced this issue...

Yeah, just me. So I guess you haven't bothered to look at the hundreds of posts about the problem all over these forums. Nah, why bother.

It‘s the nature of forums that you are more likely to find posts of people having issues looking for solutions. It is unlikely that everyone not having a problem posts, “Just wanted to post today to say another day of zero issues.”

That's true. This is not my first rodeo. But these are hundreds of posts about the same complaint, over many models since the release of the iMac Pro, destroying the enjoyment or usefulness of some very expansive machines, with the only common denominator being the T2 chip and Apple's inability to fix it. And there have been articles published about it. This is not about a few people complaining that the corner of their screen is yellow.

You asked and you shall receive. I've had my quad core i7 air with 16gb of ram for about a month, and being driven crazy by Bridge Os crashes over the last week. Obviously done all of the obligatory Google searches, hoping to find a solution but my hopes are dashed. Looks like I'll be contacting Apple support then.

I am sorry to hear that. I was beginning to have hope. I guess no Apple MacBook can be recommended now until they move to the T3. Hopefully then...

Please report here on your experience with Apple support. They will probably do everything from reinstalling MacOS to replacing the motherboard, neither of which is likely to solve what looks to be a design problem. Good luck.

It's possible to reflash BridgeOS by following the steps in this article:

Only requirements are that you have another machine running the same OS and a USB-C/Tbolt port and USB-C/Thunderbolt cable.
